JASADA K9 is proud to announce that we are bringing 'JERRY BRADSHAW' from 'TARHEEL CANINE U.S.A.' in June 2012.
This seminar will take place on the Gold Coast in Queensland over 3 days, 24 hours of instruction, and be open to Law Enforcement and Military participants. Improve the efficiency of your limited training time with your decoys by learning how to integrate fundamental & skill exercises into real-world scenarios.
This will be Jerry Bradshaw's first Australian Seminar.
Areas of interest are but are not limited to:
- Decoy as an instrument of operant conditioning.
- Alert on passive suspects with no equipment
- Bringing out civil aggression.
- Drive channeling
- Eliminate equipment orientation in any dog.
- Proper sleeve mechanics: sleeves don’t create equipment orientation, decoys do.
- Proper Bite suit targeting and “catch” mechanics.
- Proper use of hidden sleeves and muzzle fighting.
- Explanation of decoy technique for training and maintaining control commands: out, guarding, hold & bark, redirects, and call-off (recalls).
- Integrating fundamentals into police K9 training scenarios.

Security Dog Handler Course

Nationally Accredied Security Dog Handlers Course. This training teaches and certiifies the units 'Manage dogs for Security Functions' (CPPSEC3010A) and 'Handle Dogs for Security Patrols' (CPPSEC3011A) for security licensing requirements.

Working Puppy Development Group
Date: Saturday mornings 9am to 11am
Cost: $30 per puppy
An open group environment for socialisation and imprinting of puppies betwwen the ages of 8 weeks to 5 months. We provide training and guidance to assist in the correct development and working capability of puppies.

Decoy Workshop
Date: To be advised
Cost: $250
Learn the skills for effective decoy work that will increase the ability of security patrol dogs and be an asset in preparing dog teams for success in assessment and certification.
This workshop will take place of over 8 hours of instruction, and be open to licensed security and law enforcement participants. The workshop will comprise of both theory instruction and practical decoy work .
